 The 1'st Zanzibar -Kneya Judo Competition was held on 20/June/2007 at Zanzibar Budokan organised by Zanzibar Judo association. It was the team competition.(5teams) The result 1st winning team---Zanzibar Civilian team 2nd ---Zanzibar Police team 3rd ---Kenya Team A 3rd ---Kenya Team B 5th ---Zanzibar Challenger team The Best Player --HAMAD Hamad Shaame (Zanzibar) He competeds 4 games and got all ippon wins. The opening ceremoney  The competition      *Azan Hussein(Zanzibar Challenger Team Blue belt) is 16years old and the youngest arthlate in this competition. He tried his best and got one win from Kenya.  Honery Guests President of Tanzania Olympic Committee Director of Department of Sports Secretary General, National Sports Council  Closing Ceremoney  1st victory ---Zanzibar Civilian team  Best Player---HAMAD Hamad Shaame(Zanzibar Civilian team)  Speech by Mr.Glum A.Rashid, president of Tanzania Olympic Committee  Mr.Maeda contributed to ZJA 30peais of training shoes. Zanzibar Judo Association presented to Kenya team Clocks and Sports bags.   This competition was broadcasted through to TV Zanzibar  Newspapar [ZANZIBAR LEO 22/06/2007]  ZJA made Musikaki (African barbecue) party after competition.  ▲

Zanzibar Judo Association organized the joint training Camp with Kenya team (1Coach , 10athelates) 14/June/2007---21/June/2007 in Zanzibar. The first training day  The official opening ceremoney of the Training camp  speech by Mr.Khamis Ali, General secretary of National Sports Council  the left side Mr.MASAHIRO MAEDA 7th -Dan (Kenya P.S.T.C Coach, JICA, Sinior volounteea) the right side Mr.Tsuyoshi SHIMAOKA President of ZJA & National Coach of All Tanzania   Newaza   Tachiwaza     Ms.Irene Jackson came to inspect the trainig camp. She is the coordinator of Judo in Tanzania Olympic Committee.   ▲
